Playstudio Beta 10.0
A downloadable platform for Windows and Linux
Playstudio is a 2D online platform inspired by Roblox with avatar customization options, a multilude of games, along with multiplayer options; multiplayer might take 4 to 20 seconds to load, depending on your internet speed.
To create an account, just go to settings, log out, and hit "sign up." You can pick a username, or if you're feeling lazy, leave it blank and we'll come up with one for you! Please note that offensive usernames are moderated and will result in an immediate ban, as our system can blacklist usernames immediately.
Right now, our servers only support up to 8 players—yeah, we know, it’s a bit limited at the moment but we’re working on it! Our multiplayer infrastructure is reliant on games, and at the moment we're in the process of figuring out how to scale our multiplayer servers, whilist managing other features to optimize the Playstudio experience for each PC.

Install instructions
How to Install Playstudio:
- For Linux, Raspberry Pi, and Windows: Download the itch.io app and search for "Playstudio" or "Mechabytes Software" within the app. Hit install and enable automatic updates to stay up to date.
- For Steam Deck: Unfortunately, the native Linux version doesn't work on Steam Deck. Instead, download the Windows version and unzip it. Add "Playstudio.exe" to Steam, and in the "Compatibility" settings, select the latest version of Proton as your layer. You’ll need to switch from automatic to manual mode to make this change.
